**Purpose of the Job**:
This position lead the main Indirect categories in scope are (but not limited to): Capex, Construction & Refurbishment, Utilities

The role reports directly to Spain and Portugal Head of Indirect Procurement.

You must be a skilled professional with business acumen and construction skills. While demostrating strong leadership skills and transformative mindset, you must have a pragmatic execution approach and good business partenring capabilities

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develops long term strategic plans for the entire spend area within for Spain and Portugal Cluster
- Managing in-country ( Spain and Portugal ) procurement activities and deliver on savings plan, managing relevant policies.
- Manages requestors and supplier relationships to ensure that Category Strategies are highly aligned to current and future Business needs and that the supply base is capable of supporting these strategies.
- Coordinates the introduction of new and modified services with appropriate departments
- Advises on contracts and agreements for the supply of complex services with new and existing suppliers

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**
- Degree level or equivalent qualifications
- Previous experience in a category management role
- Proven, successful supplier negotiations skills. Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Understanding of contract principles and clauses and be able to construct an interpret agreements
- Excellent communication/relationship skill, be the Confidential and trustworthy business partner
- Communication skills and ability to influence others
- Comfort with risk and ambiguous situations
- Accuracy, Problem solving, planning and organization, result orientation, service orientation, ability to perform in stress situations

**DESIRABLE**
- Experience of working within Indirect, preferably Capex background
- Fluency in English, proficiency in French as plus.
