EHS - Environmental Officer

A position as **Environmental Officer **has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid)

Within the perimeter of their activities, an Environment Officer is responsible for ensuring conformity to environmental compliance obligations, monitoring and enhancing Airbus’ environmental performance and achieving environmental objectives.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**

The jobholder main activities will be to support and cooperate with their management hierarchy in the different points included in the scope of the Integrated EHS Management System (ISO14001/ISO45001):

- Environmental (EHS) Risk and Opportunities: Identification, scoring and classification
- To guarantee EHS legal compliance, in two scopes: industral activities; product regulations; at Site, national and if required transnational level
- To contribute for the definition and deployment of EHS Policies
- To contribute for the definition, planning and deployment of technical work specifications
- Development, improvement and continuous updating of Management System documents: Manuals, Methods, Procedures.
- To contribute to the management of Hazardous Substances

**Requirements**:
We are looking for a dedicated specialist, educated to Environmental Science or Engineering, EHS Science or Engineering with the following skills and experience:

- Educated to Environmental Science or Engineering (Industrial Engineering as a preference) or equivalent
- Expert knowledge in Environmental and EHS regulations (EU, national and local)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to propose new ideas
- English: Advanced
- Spanish: Advanced
