As a Procurement Planner you will guarantee the procurement of raw materials, packages, intermediates and purchased finished goods (for the appropriate planning class), in the respect of the safety stock maintenance (stock items) or based on the needs planned (order items), and of the maximum stock. Scope of the activity is to ensure availability of the components to the operations, controlling and maintaining the inventory and the turns in the established goal, maintaining the system for efficient process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Release against BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreements) to meet production plan requirements (raw material and packaging) and demand (procured finished goods), for normal and consignment stock items and respond to short term needs.
- Maintain the warehouse rules (set up) into the system for the items owned by the incumbent (planning class identifies them); warehouse rules should be completely reviewed every quarter or when necessary, in case of variation in the elements determining the warehouse rules.
- Verify daily the late PORD and be constantly in touch with the suppliers to contribute at the respect of the OTIF. Feedback performance to purchasing.
- Check min and max levels for the VMI items and manage the claims on the non-respect of the contractual engagements.
- Provide monthly the forecasts to the suppliers for the items managed by you (identified by the planning class); this is applicable to normal, consignment stock and VMI items.
- Input the claims in the CAIR system for the most significant lates, or continuative non respect of the contractual engagements by the supplier on deliveries, lead time respect and all the other eventual service non-conformities. For this accountability you must work together with the supplier and the Purchasing dpt. with the final scope to increase OTIF.
- Work together with Shop floor controller and Supply chain in identifying new potential consignment stock or VMI contracts and follow up the implementation with Purchasing; inform Purchasing regularly in case of need to change min and max for existing consignment stocks or VMI contracts, in order that official agreements with the suppliers are always aligned with our need and the system.
- Cooperate with planning, technical teams, market team to manage in the most effective way stops of consumptions or new introductions, with the scope of giving continuity to the service and minimize the risk of obsolescence.
- Partner with Shop floor controller and Supply Chain in the analysis / management / corrective actions on Magna Charta and Recoverable assets, with the scope of reducing SSPL.
- Work with the business owners to assess opportunities for cost savings.
- Process development/evaluation to achieve best practice; identifying areas for process/toolset improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Handle quality issues with suppliers.
- Cooperate with the replenishment planner, shipping and warehouse teams to create a shipping and receiving plans according to the best use of the resources.
- Establish loading and unloading schedule for suppliers.
- Establish a schedule for fixed activities unlinked to loading and unloading.
- Cooperate with the lab, establishing a process to improve the productivity of the quality activities regarding loading and unloading: RT checking, sampling,
- Manage and reduce the extra costs due to demurrages in loadings and/or unloading.
- Cooperate with logistic to ensure raw material flow between warehouse and production area (hubs).
- Check and correct discrepancies (non accuracy) between WMS (warehouse) and ERP (Oracle).
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Controller in order to perform the Annual Stock Take
- MOC team member (when applies)

**Qualifications**
- Communication and interaction capabilities.
- Mathematic and logic capabilities (analytical thinking).
- Supply chain basic skills, mainly focused on planning methodologies (good knowledge of MRP logic and pull system, setting correct stock levels).
- English language at good level; an additional language will be a plus.
