The use of digitalization technologies and Artificial Intelligence in the world of healthcare reveals great opportunities to benefit and improve patient’s care, reducing costs and improving global health. We can find many medical areas that are already getting the benefits of this new wave, however, others like hematology, infectious diseases, neglected tropical diseases, among others, still remain one step behind. SpotLab is fighting to bridge the gap.

We have received more than 10 international awards, including the Seal of Excellence of the European Union, being one of the most innovative start-up companies based on breakthrough innovations with scale and impact potential. We are a multidisciplinary orchestra with gender parity where developers, engineers, doctors, business managers, etc. with different professional backgrounds interact and complement each other.

**Main tasks**:

- Manage actually ongoing projects in the intersection of AI and hematology (our technology is currently being deployed at 10 Spanish hospitals)
- Doctor training and formation in SpotLab’s technologies for innovative projects
- Product design in collaboration with the technology team managing clinical user feedback
- Project management, support and evaluation of critical problems that might rise, performing the right cost-benefit evaluation and activating the right members of the team to facilitate the solution.
- Interaction and co-design of projects with hospitals and pharmaceuticals
- Explore clinical problem areas, test solutions and create new services to unleash the power of AI.
- Open up new business fields, develop new ideas and start projects using existing resources
- Reimagine the experience of new customers in relation to the SpotLab’s actual innovation services
- Proposing and implementing new experiences for internal collaborators
- Working closely with experts from the different areas of the company, detecting improvements, and new opportunities
- Translate all that magic and crazy ideas into feasible and concrete plans, with different activities, deliverables, and tasks well documented for the development team.
- Help the team to navigate through the tough side of innovation.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications required**:

- Biomedical engineer, Project Managers, Medics, Biology, Biotechnologist, Biochemistry,.... But titles do not blind us, you might have studied Journalism for example, and still be the perfect match
- Able to think in an interdisciplinary way to bring together the interests and potential of different departments.
- Passionate about innovation and driving change in the healthcare sector
- Previous leading innovation projects is a plus
- Expertise in the field of product development/management is a plus
- Natural curious, always on the lookout for new ideas and ways to improve processes, products, and services
- Knowledge of a range of innovation tools and methodologies (e.g., design thinking, rapid prototyping and agile delivery)
- Skills of relationship building and negotiation
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects all at once
- Ability to make clear decisions and map out goals for the team
- A dreamer soul and empathic heart, with the urge to create a positive impact in this world
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal (spanish and english)
- Ability to work in a small team, full of multidisciplinary people and a fast-change environment.
- Ability to deal with uncertainty, autonomy to explore new paths and dare to walk the unwalkable.
- Not discouraged by failed ideas and projects, no afraid about other workmates' suggestions or ideas.
- Willingness to take risks and the ability to stay persistent.
