EtherMail has been founded by serial entrepreneurs Shant Kevonian and Gerald Heydenreich (eg exit of buyvip to Amazon) is located in Liechtenstein, Spain, Germany, Argentina and Armenia and has received more than 7 M € in funding from top tier VC funds such as fabric, greenfield and Tim Draper.

**The Role**

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our Web 3.0 platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data flow, optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability, and contribute to the development of new data-driven features and improvements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement data models, database schemas, and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and monitoring processes.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for maximum performance.
- Write clean, efficient code and documentation following best software development practices.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (not mandatory but preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in data engineering technologies such as SQL, Python, R, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Experience with data modeling, database design, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies and decentralized data storage is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
