Descripción del empleo
From Devoteam we are looking for a virtualisation systems administrator for an important client located in the banking sector. The position is a hybrid position and therefore has to live in Madrid.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- The SysAdmin Virt engineer will be responsible for the virtualization infrastructure and services across the organization and also about solving problems in order to prevent or restrain damage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Virtualization platform operation, maintenance, monitoring, incidents resolution, requests and change management tasks.
- Work with the rest Infrastructure engineers to evaluate user stories.
- Maintain infrastructure and software supporting internal tools.
- Develop automated solutions for enhance internal processes.
- Guard on duty is required as part of the service
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong knowledge of IT Virtualization environment based in VmWare.
- Demonstrated experience in administration of Hyper-V platforms.
- Knowledge of technologies such as Cisco UCS and VxRail will be positively valued.
- Competent in scripting/API and development skills in Powershell and/or any other modern coding or scripting languages to automate tasks like Ansible or Python.
MINDSET
- Real team player that have experience working in a large, corporate, organization but also able to work independently.
- Positive and able to work in stressful situations.
- Good time management skills.
- Affinity with information technology and is aware of risks in IT.
- Strong analytical skills and able to explain complicated analysis to a non-technical audience.
PROFILE
- Minimum experience of 3 years in the main responsibilities described above.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
SECURITY RULES ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE
- This role implies information protection and security responsibilities that the person will have access to, aligned with the “Information Security and Management internal policies” of the Bank.
