Position Description

Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the manufacturing facility. He would also be responsible for developing strategies to increase production at mínimal costs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop efficiency strategies to ensure the plant meets production goals and standards at mínimal manufacturing costs.

Research, study and suggest enhancements in machinery/production techniques to ensure that the best practices across the industry are adopted within the organization.

Develop monthly/weekly/daily production plan to ensure maximum throughput.

Set the estimated budget; monitor the Factory expenditures and financial performance.

Guide the production floor supervisors for ensuring that they are able to achieve their respective targets, thereby ensuring the demand put forward to the factory is being fulfilled within the agreed lead time.

Coordinate sales & production in factory in accordance with company objectives.

Monitor the Factory performance to ensure that progress is being made in the desirable direction.

Review production costs and product quality, modify production programs to maintain & enhance profitable operations of the Factory.

Direct all factory activities to insure safety and compliance with standards, regulatory compliance and contract agreements.

Constantly work towards reducing the total number of defective/wrong production and also for reduction of the overall production lead time.

Constantly work towards developing the overall capabilities of the team through coaching and mentoring of the junior members.

Work towards gaining ISO certification for the Factory.

Work with the HR department to ensure timely and accurate performance evaluations of the factory employees.

Excellent past track records in new business sourcing & acquiring.

Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Thorough knowledge of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc.

Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions.

Strong oral and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.

Position Qualifications

Experience
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in furnishing production.

Education Level
Bachelor Degree.

Education Major
Production engineering or related fields

Others
Past experience in Middle Eastern countries is desirable.
