As a Commissioning Engineer in PLC programming, you will oversee commissioning in projects with low to medium complexity, and guide Associate Commissioning Engineers and coordinating work with entry-level staff. You will ensure that commissioning activities are completed efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements. In this role you will assist and coordinate installation activities with the Installation Supervisor/Site Manager, as well as implementing design changes and marking up project documentation.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Developing and commissioning on site PLC program of automation projects.
- Developing and maintaining the standards of controls and PLC programs.
- Assisting in continuous improvement of project design, participating in project review meetings, and providing input on commissioning activities.
- Helping to create proposals for engineering projects or programs and assisting Contract Managers in issuing claims.
- Creating work plans and cost estimates for work, conducting risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning, reporting potential risks and resolutions.
- Coordinating activities focused on customer acceptance.
- Identifying and recommending solutions to meet business and customer needs, and providing relevant information.
- Managing external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment, systems, or services.
**Your background**:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in projects of automation with robots, working as project engineer.
- Sound knowledge of PLC programming in Siemens TIA Portal and S7 in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of other PLC languages will be valued.
- High level of English and Spanish. Knowledge of German and/or French will be valued.
- Willingness to travel (international projects) around 50% of the time.
- Current drive license valid in Spain.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
