Junior Novelty Materials

**Description**:
**Your main responsabilities**:

- Designing experiments for the improvement of the materials to be developed using different technologies such as nanotechnology, reactive extrusion, chemical functionalization.
- To design and optimization of the processing and transformation operations of polymeric materials such as extrusion, compounding and reactive extrusion, as well as simulation of processes and evaluation of their results, as well as analyze and characterization of the different materials developed.
- Writing proposals about European programs.
- Dissemination and presentation of results in different scientific fields (congresses, conferences, events, etc.).
- To research, evaluate and generate new lines of knowledge for the materials production, in the packaging area.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering; a PhD in Materials Science or Chemistry, and/or Master's degree related to new materials is a plus.
- More than 2 years of demonstrable experience in team management and execution of R&D projects.
- Knowledge in: Biomaterials and specialization course in thermoplastic processing technologies; polymer synthesis, polymerization, renewable materials and knowledge in characterization of structural properties of polymers; plastic transformation technologies, nanotechnology and/or nano composites.
- Fluent English minimum B2/C1.
- Willingness to travel on an occasional basis at national, European and international level.
