Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics, with around 3.000 employees. From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.

As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer in Valeo Martos you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, working in an international and multicultural environment.

Your mission:
- Application of Group Standards (SQM and AQP.pp) with External suppliers- Validation of Supplier components on time vs. project milestones- Technical expertise for Problem Solving / incidents created by suppliers in projects and current production

Your responsabilities:

- Provide to PG (Product Group) or RO (Regional Operation) Sourcing Committee - conducting Supplier selection for projects - recommendation on the Supplier capability proposed for sourcing inherent to the commodity he or she is responsible for in his or her region of operation.
- Validate with purchasing network that VRFs are updated according to Group standards - and are containing especially (not exclusively), LLCs / Book of Defect / Commodity Check List and Design standards and SPPC Tracking Sheet.
- Respect strictly the SQM (Supplier Quality Manual) and validate the AQP.pp deliverables.
- Raise to Project Quality and Project Purchasing and Commodity Purchaser - all technical issues encountered by the suppliers requiring a modification of the drawing, specification.
- Support Group Segment SQA Leader in the preparation of the Top Worst Suppliers meetings when supplier improvement is required.
- Responsible for the key indicators for the scope of his or her region of operation and the commodity in charge:
- IS (Initial Sample) approved on time vs. initial project time-line- Red Launches along the probationary period (Stage 6)- Incidents recurrence

Desired skills and experience:
- Engineering Degree- 3 to 5 years in Automotive OEM or at Automotive Supplier.- Operational Quality Experience.- Be result oriented, commitment to teamwork within an international environment.- Professionalism and transparency.- Good level of English as well as Spanish.- Geographical mobility.- Passion for the automotive industry.
