Join Visium’s team and actively contribute to our expansion in Switzerland and internationally.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Consultant to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data management strategies to ensure optimal data quality, security, and accessibility for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data needs and design solutions that meet business requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As a Data Management consultant, your main responsibilities will include:

- Examine data, processes, and technologies to determine the current state and critical problems of external clients.
- Research and make recommendations to improve data use according to industry best practices
- Oversee data management, warehousing, integration, and migration; business intelligence; analytics; and delivery across advisory and technical projects.
- Design the common data architecture asset including framework, principle, guideline and template to guide the delivery team realize an optimized solution.
- Design of the detailed data architecture, including data governance, master data management, data quality, data modeling, ETL approach, data storage...
- Identify the gap between business requirement and data architecture and propose optimal data warehouse and analytics solutions to fulfill the business/technical requirement.
- Train and mentor team members in data input, use, meaning, and analysis.

What we are looking for

Required qualifications:

- 2+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in data management
- Experience with Data Management technologies, such as:

- ET/ETL tools: Informatica, Talend, Fivetran, dbt, Azure Data Factory
- Data Storage AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Big Query, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse Analytics
- Database: Oracle/SQL Server/SAS/Teradata/Hadoop related
- Data Visualization: Tableau/QlikView/PowerBI/TibcoSpotfire/Open source tools
- Proficiency in using SQL and R language to manipulate datasets and perform data analysis
- Experience in data architecture design and implementation (Certified Data Management Professional Dama International or other certifications is a plus).
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Fluent in English, French or German is a plus.
- Experience in Machine Learning and Supply Chain will be considered as a strong asset, but it is not a prerequisite.
