**Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) **is looking for a PDM Trade & Working Capital Solutions Associate, based in our Boadilla del Monte office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **PDM Trade & Working Capital Solutions Associate **you will support the Global PDM Trade & Working Capital Solutions Team across all products, but with a focus on the underwriting, syndication and distribution of Structured Trade and Structured Receivables Transactions. Structured Trade will include: Prepayment financing, Pre-export financing, Inventory finance, Borrowing base financing and Trade loans. Structured Receivables includes Receivable Purchase Programmes and. Mass Receivables programmes.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Attending investor meetings in person and virtually and ensuring accurate records of these meetings are input into the systems and disseminated to the appropriate parties
- Very quickly you will be expected to work on some smaller, simpler transactions, offering these to investors directly and managing the whole process of syndicating transactions from end to end. There is the opportunity to quickly progress to being the point person on larger/more complex transactions, based on ability and experience
- Preparing presentations and teasers for investors
- Tracking the status of ongoing syndications
- Liaising with internal counterparties in the TWCS business, Risk, Banking and Corporate Finance, Middle and Back Office and other functions
- Preparing reports for senior management tracking the progress against our distribution targets throughout the year
- Performing portfolio analysis when required for initiatives
- Learning and understanding the market dynamics between banks, insurers, corporate clients and other parties in the value chain
- Managing the Trade Facilitation Programme
- Supporting the wider team based in other geographies as required, this will allow you to quickly gain a global understanding of the business

EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial sector

EDUCATION
- Bachelor´s degree in a business/economics/law.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- A solid interest in, and knowledge of, the Corporate and Investment banking industry and Banco Santander’s place within it
- Some pre-existing knowledge of TWCS assets or other relevant experience (for example distribution experience in another asset class)
- Powerpoint and Excel skills
- Fluency in English.
- Direct experience of TWCS assets, either from an origination, distribution, risk etc. angle will be a strong differentiator (desired)
- Previous experience in distribution/syndication/sales (desired)
