**Job Title**: Server Engineer

**Location**: Madrid, Spain

**Hourly Rate**: €30-€35 per hour

**Project Duration**: 50-60 hours on a two week basis (temporary)

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Scope**: Rack and stack equipment, Tier 2 - Tier 3 support

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Install and configure servers according to project requirements.
- Conduct network troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Perform hardware and software troubleshooting as needed.
- Manage rack and stack equipment in the data center.
- Ensure proper cable management within the infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including power and cooling systems.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Implement server virtualization technologies.
- Adhere to security protocols and procedures.
- Execute backup and restore procedures as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting throughout the project.

**Requirements**:
**Hard Skills**:

- 5+ years of experience in data center or colocation center environments.
- Proficiency in server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of network troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in rack and stack operations.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure management.
- Understanding of power and cooling systems.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning.
- Proficiency in server virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Experience with backup and restore procedures.
