Marketing Operations Lead

The Alpega Group is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to lead and optimize our marketing growth strategies across brand awareness, demand generation, ABM and customer retention. In this role, you will manage a team of four and be responsible for driving operational excellence across our marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless execution, measurement, and optimization of campaigns targeting SMBs, mid-market, and enterprise segments to maximize ROI and support business growth. This role will be based in Barcelona, Spain.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Team Leadership**: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of four marketing operations professionals and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that supports the team’s growth and success.- Paid Specialist- Lead Ops Manager- Sr Marketing Automation Manager- Jr Marketing Automation Manager
- **Marketing Tech Stack Management**: Own and optimize the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot and Salesforce, to ensure seamless data integration, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
- **Marketing Automation**: Oversee the development and execution of marketing automation strategies to nurture leads, drive engagement, and enhance the customer journey. Ensure automation processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
- **Paid Campaign Management**: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., Google Ads, social media, display networks) to drive lead generation and conversion.
- **Campaign Operations**: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to design, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns across various customer segments (SMB, mid-market, enterprise). Ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and drive pipeline growth.
- **Data Management and Analysis**: Oversee data quality, segmentation, and management across all systems. Develop CMO dashboards and reports to provide insights into campaign performance, lead generation, and ROI.
- **Process Optimization**: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in marketing operations. This includes automating workflows, enhancing lead scoring models, and optimizing lead handoff processes between marketing and sales.
- **Salesforce & HubSpot Integration**: Ensure seamless integration between HubSpot and Salesforce, maintaining data integrity and enabling accurate tracking of the customer journey from lead generation to conversion.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to align marketing operations with broader company goals. Act as a liaison between marketing and sales to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- **Compliance and Governance**: Ensure all marketing operations are compliant with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and others. Maintain best practices for data governance and usage within the marketing team.
- **Training and Enablement**: Provide training and support to marketing and sales teams on the use of HubSpot, Salesforce, and other tools to maximize the effectiveness of their campaigns and reporting.
**WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU**
- **Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.**
- **5+ years of experience in marketing operations, preferably in a SaaS environment.**
- **Proven experience in managing and developing a team, with strong leadership skills.**
- Deep expertise in HubSpot and Salesforce, including integration and data management.
- Strong experience in marketing automation, including the design and execution of automated workflows.
- Experience managing paid marketing campaigns across various digital channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven track record of optimizing marketing processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Experience working across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
