**Job Description**:
AECOM Spain **MEP team** is a highly qualified group of professionals experts in offering the best solutions to international client’s needs all around the world.

Our building services engineers are at the forefront of their discipline for the design of the mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems required for the safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly operation of buildings. We embrace world class methodologies and technologies, including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.

Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for an **Electrical Design Engineer **who has is looking to further develop her/his experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defence.

Working within a dynamic, highly motivated and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery. As an **Electrical Design Engineer**, you will contribute to the winning and delivery of moderate to large scale projects.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be expected to:

- Complete Electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes;
- Makes design recommendations with input from senior staff;
- Maintains accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files;
- Attends project meetings.
- Assists in project checking for quality control on other projects.
- Provide knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans and drawings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or industrial engineering with Electrical Emphasis Engineering, from an accredited program.
- Some experience in a similar role, designing electrical installations for different projects.
- Good knowledge in engineering calculation software for electrical discipline (CANECO, ETAP, etc).
- Familiar with international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC, etc).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written).
- Ability to switch between work on multiple/different projects daily.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and take pride in your work.
