Guardian Glass Services is looking for a Purchasing Technician for our offices in Bilbao (Spain).

**Our Team**

Guardian Glass Services is the only B2C business within Guardian Glass. We are dedicated to the replacement of glass for home, commercial, direct sales and retail. With 25 work centers and national coverage, we are the main glass partner for the insurance, corporate and new openings sectors.

**What You Will Do**
- Understand business needs.
- Create options for GGS to maximize margins.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to give GGS a competitive advantage.
- Ensure security of supply.
- Regular updates of supply chain trends and issues.
- Monitoring of department KPI's and suggest improvement actions.
- Work hand-in-hand with the other departments to align suppliers with the company's objectives.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Vocational training, University degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- Experience in Purchasing.
- Fluent in Spanish. Knowledge of English will be valued.
- Negotiation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in fluid environments.
- Proactive and out of box thinking.
- Knowledge of the glass market is preferred.
