**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Partner with your squad's Product Manager and Development team to define User Stories acceptance criteria for upcoming features.
- Create and update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and accounted for.
- Define complete and well-structured testing strategies and test plans for upcoming releases.
- Coordinate and conduct manual functional testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing sessions.
- Design and implement automatic testing solutions for functional and API testing.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate all types of testing activities.
- Identify and thoroughly document bugs to report them to all interested stakeholders. Keep track of the bugs in a bug-tracking system.
- Continuously analyze the quality assurance process of the product and detect areas of improvement with previously defined metrics.
- Spread a quality assurance culture within the organization.

**WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION?**
- At least 2 years as a professional QA Engineer or similar role.
- Deep understanding of all the processes in the software development life cycle and all the QA processes and stages involved.
- Experience testing backend services such as REST APIs.
- Have assumed the basic concepts for building virtual environments for testing and building pipelines on CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub actions.
- Experience with source code management tools such as git.
- Ability to report bugs with thorough explanations and all the necessary information needed. Feel comfortable with bug-tracking software.
- Understanding of the business strategy.
