We offer a role in a high-volume business with substantial impact on creating co-workers and customers experience. We are looking for a new Shop Manager for IKEA Cataluña, to lead our New City Customer Meeting Points.

You possess the ability of setting and implementing action plans and providing clear direction and following up goals.

Finally, you can make things happen with flexibility and speed and hold the ability to engage by creating a passion for your plans and to inspire others.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in commercial areas in retail and delivering results.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leading and influencing people.
- Experience in planning, driving output and measuring performance (business).
- Good communication skills both English and Spanish
- Passionate about people, they are your priority; ambition to grow personally and make the business grow, with flexibility connected with the retail needs.
- Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of Commercial and selling as an integrated part of the business.
- Good leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way.
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions with speed and simplicity.
- Ability to take a holistic view of a global organization and identify business opportunities accordingly and acting fast.
- Ability to follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve planning and performance moving forward.
- Passionate about home furnishing and life at home.
- Valuable previous experience leading teams in City Stores, Flagship Stores and similars

**What you'll be doing day to day**

'-Lead the Store Team, through the diferent levels of responsability and departments, working together to achive goals and make the bussines grow.
- Ensure the store is in an excellent condition, “in shape as new” and the product range is presented in an inspiring and satisfiying way for our customers
- Ensure the profitability of the IKEA Shop as an independent Unit (KPI's follow up, costs, deviations...)
- Understand and maximize the different communication channels, marketing and sales at IKEA towards ous customer.
- Recognize and act fastly over the commercial opportunities of the business
- Ensure the team have the knowledge about the range and services at IKEA, offering the customer an excellent shop experience.
- Develop the business through people and teams.
- Identify the actual and future needs of your team to recruit and develop, and retain a passionate and high performance commercial team.
- Be an active player on working on sustainability initiatives and priorities within selling through ensuring sustainability priorities are reflected in our Customer Meeting Points.
