Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee

**Scope of the position**

The student will learn how to perform in the position of Housekeeping Supervisor in a 5 star resort. The intern daily tasks will be to supervise the cleaning process in the room, common areas, meeting rooms and other resort areas; observing that the LHW room standards are maintain; issuing work orders and check amenities storage level.
The intern will work along with a Supervisor and will be trained in Opera for Housekeeping and LHW’s standards. At the end of the internship, the student will have developed his/her control and supervising skills, communication strengths as well as team working and general knowledge of 5 Star Hotel Industry.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- supervise rooms
- arrange the rota timetable
- issue stock orders
- maintain a 5* level of service in the department
- follow the instruction performed by the HoD
- organize uniform issuing process
- get to know LHW service standards and values
- to be able to organize a cleaning team.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in Spanish, English or other European language
- great communicative abilities
- interdepartmental communication and knowledge
- to be proactive and passionate by guest service
- attention to details
- adaptability
- no previous work experience is required
