The Risk Officer participates in identifying, measuring, mitigating, monitoring and reporting risks across the Group. The Risk Officer works with the Head of Risk to build a culture of risk management in the organization, to develop risk mitigation strategies by entity, process and/or project and to accumulate, synthesize and report on risks to executive management and the Board of Directors. The role includes responsibility for establishing risk procedures and routines to support the Group’s risk methodology.

**YOUR TASKS**:
As a Risk Manager, you play a pivotal role in fortifying our organization against various financial risks. This position involves close collaboration with the Head of Risk and other key departments to foster a robust risk management culture. Your responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies for different entities, processes, and projects
- Comprehensive risk assessment and reporting to executive management and the Board
- Establishing and maintaining risk management procedures and routines to complex financial instruments, including custom products
- Engaging with front office teams to monitor risk indicators and support business growth
- Analyzing and approving complex transactions across a wide range of asset securities
- Monitoring and performing risk analyses for Liquidity Provider, Designated Sponsor, equity line and buyback contracts
- Contributing to various strategic projects and performing rigorous daily risk controls
- Managing client credit limits, including conducting annual reviews and preparing reports for the Risk Committee
- Automating reporting and monitoring systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Innovating workflow processes for improved operational effectiveness

**YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS**:

- Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying risks in diverse activities.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, Power BI, Power Apps, and programming languages like Python, VBA, and SQL. A notion in AI is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- In-depth knowledge of investment products, derivatives, and regulatory frameworks
- Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a readiness for change
- Proficiency in English and other languages, particularly French, is advantageous.
- Academic credentials in Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering with a finance or business IT focus
- Eagerness to learn and grow into a seasoned Risk Manager
