We are looking for a **SOC Team Lead L1** who will be part of our growing SOC group, which monitors, investigates, and resolves security incidents, violations, and suspicious activities. Our global SOC group takes innovative approaches and uses the most cutting-edge technologies.
As our SOC is growing, in this role you will lead together with our other Team Lead the team of L1 analysts in Spain. This position belongs to the management line and foresees a growth in management rather than in technology.
**Main Tasks and Accountabilities**:
- Team administration and management, with the goal of maintaining a well-rounded team that delivers specified services.
- Mentor junior team members whenever the opportunity arises, and identifying the training needs within the team. Together with the guidance of the manager, formulate and executing training plans.
- Administrative duties such as managing the shift roster.
- Supervision of the shifts and team to ensure cyber security alerts from the SIEM and various other sources are addressed by the team within the stipulated service level agreements.
- Define and implement new processes, as well as modifying existing ones. Communicate and escalate issues as per the set procedures.
- Generation of required reports management information and analytics.
**Requirements**:
- 2+ Years overall experience in SOC / IT Infrastructure.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience delivering SOC services to external customers (preferably in global organizations).
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science with training in cyber security
- Sound understanding of relevant tools related to SOC like SIEM EDR Ticket Management etc
- Highly Proficient in Cybersecurity Incident Management process.
- Sound understanding of cyber security alerts and incidents.
- Intermediate understanding of enterprise IT Infrastructure including Networks Firewalls OS Databases Web Applications etc.
- 1 Year experience leading a team in Cybersecurity environment.
- Desirable - Training / Certification in relevant processes / frameworks related to operations / project / cyber security etc.
- English fluent.
