**Project** Description**:
The aim of the project is to test and provide the feedback for the release approval of several ADAS camera and radar based functions for the front and rear use cases, tailored and deployed for various car models. Here are the main activities
1. System Development: For integration of the Driving functions provided by OEM to the vehicle platforms, existing function requirements need to be reviewed, adapted and even new requirements need to be created, while other requirements could be proven obsolete.
2. Not only due to change of requirements, but also for general roll-out of functions, those function need to be tested in non-deterministic real world driving as well as on deterministic Proving Ground. Therefore, test vehicles need to be prepared for such testing, test needs to be executed and analyzed and the mitigation of errors found needs to be tracked.
Competence in Autonomous Driving Function development on one side as well as competence in Testing processes - from concept to final report - is mandatory to successfully drive the project. Essential part about the driving tests will be performed by our supplier.
We establish a new location and facilities in the Barcelona area, which enables us to run the project. Close collaboration with OEM, Tier-1 and our supplier is absolutely necessary. They are located in Spain and in Germany. The project start could be challenging, but this role provides a great opportunities to grow, learn new technologies and build up the new location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick up test cars at customer facilities
- Evaluate car setup, perform smoke tests according to the check list
- Perform sensor calibration using measurement systems
- Execute the drive tests on the public roads and test tracks, mainly in the Barcelona area, but also in Europe, with the appliances prepared in the car according to the requirements
- Report possible issues or conditions about the test executed
- Direct communication with the Mechatronic Engineer about the setup status
- Flash ECUs to update the firmware with the appropriate tools
- Save evidences about the test executed and facilitate to the test engineer
- Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks
- Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system)
- Defects verification/reproducing
- Timely report status and progress of the assigned activities to - supervisor. Perform tasks within agreed time-frame and according to design\functional spec
- Provide the Test Manager with accurate estimates for assigned task duration

**Skills**:
Must have
- Driving license B with 5+ years driving experience in Europe.
- Ability to write simple test reports on the PC
- Experience in driving tests 3+ years

Willingness to obtain the license for operating prototype cars, to attend workshops and learn, how to calibrate sensors as a daily duty before the driving test, how to operate measurement system for online annotation and recording. Perform vehicle smoke tests to ensure their functionality. Perform drive tests on the public roads and test tracks. Willingness to travel in Europe in order to conduct drive tests. Understand test cases, which are in English. Provide structured feedback to the test engineer about the test results. Estimate the effort and communicate it to the test manager.Nice to have
