**Principal System Analyst**:
Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Data Products & Portfolio team. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence our strategic direction, strengthen our Capex and Product portfolio, and instigate technical solutions to cater our evolving business demands to help Operations to serve its Data needs and supports Capex projects.

This position can be filled in Germany (Ingelheim or Biberach), Spain (Sant Cugat), Austria (Vienna), or US (Ridgefield).

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- You build a dynamic central product team to cater to the needs of multiple data products.
- You plan and execute requests within the central product team and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- You collaborate with Business functions, vendors, developers, and support functions in a global workspace to craft strategic plans for delivering solutions.
- You will be responsible to create a rolling forecast on IT Resources required to execute the CAPEX pipeline and balance this with the IT Resources availability of IT Teams.
- Recognizing the significance of regular and transparent reporting, you will master the art of simplifying issues, making them easily understandable for senior management. Collaboration with other IT Team leads is crucial to align the demand with available resources. In case of Resource shortage, you will screen the market for strategic partners to fill the gap.

***Requirements**:

- Master's degree in IT, alternatively bachelor’s degree with long-term relevant experience.
- Several years of Project/Program management experience with proven track record of successful (agile) implementations and experience in an international and intercultural environment.
- Several years of experience in Vendor Management.
- Understanding of cloud technology (AWS, Azure etc.) and how they are used to solve Data Products challenges.
- Even in the face of complexity, you maintain your composure and foresight, never losing focus on the critical issues.
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, complemented by creativity and innovation. Outstanding communication skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships. Proactive, with the ability to confidently navigate difficult situations, resolve conflicts, and build consensus.
- Fluent language skills in English (written and spoken), additional skills in German, Spanish and/or French would be a plus. Open for international travel.
