We are a Health and Wellbeing Retreat. We serve plant based food and juices to de-stress the mind and body. We provide a program for guests which includes guided walks, yoga, meditation, life-makeover workshops, creativity classes, rebounding, dance classes and more. Guests can choose to take part in whatever activities they choose. Join our team and work with us to make a lasting difference in our guest’s health and wellbeing.

You will also help with decision making, and accountability so that staff know where to direct their question, problems and complaints.

Some of the Duty Manager responsibilities:

- Greet the retreat guests, answer any questions or concerns
- Provide an outstanding guest experience
- Asses and review guest satisfaction
- Monitor that sufficient recourses are maintained in all key area during a shift
- Monitor the coordination between all departments
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the running of the retreat
- Manage and ensure the resolution of all guests’ issues
- Deal with contractors, suppliers and coplaints
- As a duty Manager you will be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring all staff

Duty Manager Requirements:

- Experience of motivating, managing and leading a team.
- Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure.
- Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems is required.
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Significant work experience handling guest service responsibilities, preferably in a hotel/retreat setting
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and all other relevant computer programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Spanish and English
- Fluent in English
- Proactive approach to dealing with issues that may arise
- Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize and work under pressure

The expectation is that the role is very hands-on role and a warm professional attitude is always prevalent.

This is a role with straight shifts - the role will include working weekends, early mornings and late evenings.

This role will be linked to cover sick leave of one of our current Duty Managers on 32 hours per week.
