**Diabetes and Metabolism Department**

Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public institution located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops

innovative biomedical research.

Our group is looking for a graduate laboratory technician to work on a 4-month project related to the development of a

proof of concept to find a new therapeutic strategy for the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) under the

supervision of Dr. David M Selva

Bachelor’s Degree in Life/Health Sciences or Biomedical Research (Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedicine)

Experience in molecular and cellular techniques.

Good communication skills.

Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Access)

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Participate in the development of the PCOS mouse model (2 months).
- Participate in the sample processing and analysis of in vivo experiments related to the development of a new
therapy to treat PCOS (2 months).***

**Labour conditions: -**

Part-time position: 37,5h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 21.396,77 euros /// (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are
consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract**:Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities***
