- This role will support the test team for the newest Armada ship class, the F-110. This position will be responsible for ensuring the availability and operation of the SPY-7 Transmitter through the set to work test program and sea trials. This position will be principally located in Rota, Spain. Occasional travel and shipboard riding underway should be considered part of the position requirements.
- '- The principal responsibilities of this position are to ensure the availability and operation of the SPY-7 Transmitter equipment suites including the configuration and computer program operation and that the system interfaces with other SPY-7 System elements.- Ensure SPY-7 radiation safety processes are current and are being followed within acceptable operating limits.
- Manage SPY-7 Transmitter equipment suites, including setup of configurations, equipment interfaces, and data extraction requirements.
- Identify and resolve SPY-7 Transmitter equipment and computer program issues
- Conduct testing, analyze test results, and report findings, as necessary for functional testing involving SPY7 System
- Perform data collection and analysis for problem isolation and resolution and ensure discrepancies are documented and statused using the FMS TOR and TFR processes.
- Document test procedure discrepancies using the FMS TCP/TPR process for future test procedure revision.
- Provide SPY-7 Transmitter status reports to the SPY-7 System Engineering Lead as directed.
- Support the request, installation, and validation of SPY-7 adaptation data as required.
- Conduct SPY-7 collimation, Mechanical Battery Alignment, and Combat System Alignment Verification testing.
- Coordinate with alliance personnel and Combat Sysrtems Alignment Engineers to prepare for and conduct Combat Systems Tracking Test events

**Required skills, qualifications and experience**
- '- Hold an engineering or technical degree from an accredited college or university- Must be able to work in a shipyard environment with US and foreign government agencies and other US and foreign contractors with minimum supervision.
- Must have experience in the preparation and delivery of effective oral presentations to management and customer personnel.
- Prior Armada experience preferred
