Warehouse Associate

**Position**:
Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate in the Receiving Department and the Exit Department is responsible for the effective management of the receipt of merchandise and its preparation in the Warehouse, under the general supervision of the Warehouse Receiving Supervisor. The Associate performs both physical and administrative tasks that support the objectives of quality, efficiency and performs the necessary tasks that are assigned.

**What are the most relevant Tasks?**
- Inspects and receives products in accordance with policies and Arrow procedures.
- Prepare and ship products in accordance with Arrow policies and procedures.
- Handle any discrepancies by notifying the crew leader or supervisor.
- Maintains good storeroom cleanliness and performs other tasks as needed.

**What are we looking for?**
- 1 year of experience
- Able to read numbers, letters, and symbols printed with a 5-point font size.
- Know or learn to effectively and safely operate the facility's material handling equipment (eg, forklift, primarily pallet jack) and packaging equipment (eg, tape machine,) after the corresponding training periods.
- Perform end-user computing functions (eg, data entry, interpretation of information and instructions from computer screens) on warehouse computer systems (eg, terminals and PDAs).
- Ability to be on your feet continuously; bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching regularly; frequently handle, lift, and push products and equipment up to 30 pounds; occasionally handle, lift and push products and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills to be able to count quickly and accurately.
- Work effectively and flexibly in a team environment.
- Work required overtime as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
