Facilities Officer

ICFO is a research center located in the Mediterranean Technology Park in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, and currently hosts 400+ people, including researchers, PhD students and staff personnel. Today, in its area of specialization and category, the institute is consistently ranked among the highest-quality research institutions worldwide.

We are currently looking for a assistant to the Facilities Head in charge of developing projects with autonomy, reporting directly to the Head. The projects will be included in the scope of laboratories either common facilities, civil works and sustainability.

As direct assistant of the Facilities Head, he or she must be able to be in charge of the Facilities Unit in case of Head’s absence:

- Management of security facilities: access control and maintenance.
- Management of fire facilities: execution of mandatory reviews, organization of annual maintenance, supervision
- and control of components, organization of drills with OS&B.
Maintenance: Collaboration in the management and coordination of corrective, regulatory and preventive maintenance. Specially critical equipment such as fumehoods and chemical and flamable cabinets and critical process such as legionella controls.**Share this opening**:

**REQUIREMENTS**

The appointee must have:

- Technical Enginnering.
- It will be appreciated a Safety degree.
- At least ten years in a maintenance position in a place such as a research building, hospital, chemical or pharma industry.
- Spoken and written Spanish and Catalan.
- Level B2 English.
- GMAO user, preferably with Rosmiman GMAO knowledge.
- Building Management System user, preferably with Sauter and Trend systems knowledge.
- Dassnet management system knowledge.
- Formative vocation.
- Organizative competences: Service orientation, initiative, concern for order and quality, organizational commitment, teamwork.
- Specific competences: Organization and planning, proactivity and detail orientation, problem solving.

Also it is necessary to have experience in the following fields:

- Electricity installations: Supply and consumption.
- Cool and hot water installation for air conditioning.
- Gases installations.
- Security and safety.
- Water treatment.
- Civil works.
- Control installation for air conditioning.
