Within PPG we have the opportunity for **SAP IBP Consultant **based in Barcelona area, Spain.
- The position will be working as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence on S/4 Roadmap projects
- This position requires expertise in SAP modules around IBP and CI-DS
- In this role you will be required to implement business solutions based on user requirements analysis
- Propose, program or configure, document and test business solutions according to the functional and technical requirements adhering to SAP standard and our foundational S/4 template as closely as possible
- You will liaise remotely with a number of your colleagues across the globe but will be based alongside other SAP Consultants in the Technology Centre in Barcelona area.
- Due to your important role in our S/4 Roadmap projects we expect travel to be approximately 25% - 50% of your time
- Within a matrix organization you will report to the D2R Solution Architect of the S/4 project in which you participate and to Global SAP CoE D2R Stream Lead
**Performance Achievements**:
- You will be proactive in building excellent working relationships with both your IT colleagues and business stakeholders
- You will need to be a self-starter who can quickly develop good understanding of our S/4 template (within 1 - 3 months)
- You will be required to build knowledge of our SBU processes within a short timeframe (1 - 3 months) in order to facilitate rapid solutioning
- You will be required to evaluate the x-stream impact of any solutions proposed and ensure that SAP standard/our foundational template is adhered to as closely as possible
- You will be expected to coach, lead, and support junior members of the Demand to Replenish project team in order to allow them to contribute fully on the project
**Key Competence Requirements**:
You’ll need to have:
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
- Min 5 years’ experience with strong process knowledge of SAP IBP modules Demand Planning, Response & Supply, S&OP, CI-DS
- Played a Senior Consultant role in some S/4 implementations in D2R domain.
- Strong knowledge of business processes within the Supply Chain area.
- We need you to be an outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high quality work in pressurized environments
- Be comfortable working independently in a “remote working” organization
- A 4 year degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required
Your knowledge of SAP must include:
- Deep understanding of SAP IBP modules and CI-DS as well as end to end business processes within supply chain planning domain
- Extensive experience in the process design, configuration and trouble-shooting of SAP modules across complex supply chain distribution networks
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents would be advantageous
- MBA is preferred
- APICS certification will be an advantage.
