Seasonal Butler

**Live-in (sep. shared accommodation)**:

For an UHNW British client who is renting a villa in the west of Ibiza, Spain we are looking for an experienced butler to work for the season, possibly permanently. Ideally formally trained with fluency in English and Spanish and a drivers´ license.

The client is renting the luxury 6 bedroom villa from July till the end of August 2024. The family consist of four, the children are aged 2 and 4 and they have two small dogs. The family will not be there in full numbers all of the time. The villa has 6 bedrooms a pool, gym, outdoor kitchen, large terraces a roof top all set in a large garden. It comes with a full-time housekeeper and contractors look after the pool, garden and windows.

The family will have several guests stay throughout this time, so it will be busy, but they will also go out for day trips by car or boat and they will go out for dinners. There is also a full-time chef who the family bring with them, who lives in the two bedroom casita provided and shared with the butler.

**The duties of the Butler**:

- Preparing rooms and villa to requirements
- Airport pick-ups and drop offs, some chauffeur services if needed
- Welcoming guests, serving drinks and canapes
- Laying tables and serving at the table, if required
- Preparing table decoration or flowers
- Helping to decorate and organize events and parties
- Ordering and stocking drinks/ wines
- Creating cocktails
- Assisting with packing
- unpacking
- Putting up/ down sun umbrellas and lounge cushions daily
- Providing concierge services to guests
- Assist with invitations
- Running errands
- Some dog care if required

**Requirements for the Butler**:

- A min. of 4 years experience in a private household
- Ideally formally trained
- Clean driver license
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Excellent knowledge of cocktail making
- Discreet and well mannered
- Excellent references
- A recent security check
- A background or training in security is an advantage
- Experienced with dealing with young children in a household
- Well -presented and great front of house skills
- Good knowledge of Ibiza (restaurants, beaches, shops) essential

Accommodation for the Butler is a casita (small summer house) in the grounds which is shared with the private chef (two bedrooms with air-conditioning, one bathroom, lounge, small kitchen plus a terrace). A staff car is provided and comes with the villa.

Breakfast is prepared by the chef and the housekeeper assists.

The butler may be offered the role on a permanent basis at their home in the Cotswolds, UK.

**Hours**:5 days a week (possibly Tue/ Wed off), 11am - 1400 and 1700 - 2200 with some flexibility

**Salary**:€4500- €5000/ month gross on freelance basis and depending on experience
