**What does this internship consists in?**

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed **an exclusive program (DISCOVER) **designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to **DISCOVER **the skills most in demand today. It will be combined **with an 11 month internship at Airbus **in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early March 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

**Your Profile**
- Recently graduates/Master students
- Studies in engineering (aerospace, telecommunications, industrial, mechanical, chemical) ,
- English: negotiation level
- Spanish: negotiation level.
- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in complex and international environments.

**Job description**:
Aviation faces many challenges in reducing emissions and becoming a sustainable means of transport. In this line Airbus is working to implement alternative forms of combustion which implies the modification of auxiliary systems. In this sense, it is increasingly necessary to increase the cooling flows and therefore the air intakes of each aircraft.

In the present project, the student will work on the design as well as the manufacturing of different prototypes following agile methodologies for the optimization of an air intake that responds to future needs. The student will be part of the ProtoSpace department which has facilities of more than 500 m2 focused on collaborative work and rapid prototyping with access to a large amount of manufacturing means such as CNC's, laser cutters, 3D printers, etc.

The student will be involved in design, manufacturing and management of different prototypes.
