Production Technician

CORTEVA is recruiting a Production Technician to re-enforce the team of the pre-basic seeds production of Sunflower program in Sevilla-Spain.

You will participate in all the activities of sunflower pre-basic seeds production programs in our production site in Andalusia. You will take part in all the operations linked to the pre-basic seeds production: soil preparation, sowing, crop development, roguing, data collection, cages assembly/disassembly, bees management, irrigation management, harvest, seeds conditioning,
You will work closely with the rest of the team and with your counterparts in other locations/countries.

**Responsibilities**

In order to hit those overall deliverables:

- You will work closely with the rest of the team preparing all necessary for the sowing.
- You will work closely to the temporary team following their activities.
- Collection of data during the different stages of the crop in the field.
- Follow the process during and after harvest to ensure a good quality of the produced seeds.
- You will ensure more particularly that all operations will be compliant with Corteva EH&S rules.

**Qualifications**:** Qualifications - Skills**
- **Experience**:

- Crop technical monitoring is a must
- Management of agricultural machinery is a plus
- Experience in seeds production, with knowledge on protected/cages production system is a plus
- Knowledge in parent seeds production is a plus

**Education**:
Master's degree in agronomy, plants science or equivalent

**Skills**:

- Experience driving tractors and forklifts is a plus
- Microsoft Office and ERP
