Overview:
**Executive Director for Partnerships - School of Politics, Economics & Public Affairs**

IE University (IEU) is a private university with campuses located in Segovia and Madrid (Spain). IEU programs are run in English and Spanish and are compliant with the terms of the European Higher Education Area (Bologna Accords).The University is comprised by five schools, including the School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs (SPEGA) with a portfolio that includes several bachelor and master programs in international relations, economics, sustainable development and public affairs.

The Executive Director for Partnerships will support the Vice Dean of Management & Development in the implementation of the School’s strategy, with a specific focus on the development of new institutional and corporate partnerships and the curation, consolidation and deepening of existing ones. His/her duties will include the regular contact with partners and the exploration of new collaborations with a view to support the growth of the School’s programs and activities.

The Executive Director will support the Dean and the Vice Dean of Management & Development in the design and execution of a fundraising strategy for the School. He/she will liaise with transversal departments of IE University, particularly with the Provost Office, Marketing, Communications, Corporate Relations, International Development, Alumni, and the IE Foundation.

The post will be located in Madrid.

**Responsibilities**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Consolidate and deepen the School’s existing partnerships, especially with other universities and leading international organizations, bringing them to the next level of excellence and value added for our programs and activities.
- Expand the quantity and quality of SPEGA’s partnerships in alignment with the School’s overall strategy for the next 5 years, with a focus on establishing collaborations with new institutional and corporate partners.
- Support efforts to position SPEGA as one of the world’s leading schools of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs, including through its active engagement and participation in international networks and consortia. Support the daily engagement of the School with these actors.
- Support the development of a strategy for dualization of the School’s masters programs.
- Design and implement a new fundraising strategy for the School and support the Vice Dean for Management and Development in the oversight and management of the School’s budget and finances.
- Monitor the educational market and help develop new programs and activities for the School as needed.
- Catalyze SPEGA’s collaboration with other schools within IE University.
- Coordinate operational issues related to partnerships and development with other IE transversal departments as required (provost office, admissions, marketing, communications, international development, finance planning & control, administration, careers, alumni relations, corporate and institutional relations, international mobility, facilities, IT, human resources, campus life )
- Support the broader knowledge ecosystem of centers and initiatives at SPEGA.
- Lead strategic and special projects as requested by the Dean and the Vice Dean for Management and Development.
- Assist the Vice-Dean for Management and Development as requested on operations related to the management of the School.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience.
- Master’s degree, preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, Business or Marketing
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and oral), with substantial professional experience in both languages.
- Robust strategic knowledge and experience in the global management education sector.
- Proven experience in the development of partnerships and fundraising
- International professional experience and exposure to working in multicultural teams.
- Strong project-management capabilities.
- Strong customer-management skills, with strong customer-oriented ethos.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Solid capability to work under pressure and high level of accountability.
- Valid EU work permit.
