Loan Approvals Officer

Novomoney is an exciting new consumer lender and we are looking to enhance our team with an experienced Loans Approvals Officer.

You will work with our portfolio managers and to create a smooth process for credit assessment and approvals administrators. Your main objective will be t allow the business to grow while maintaining a credit risk profile that meets the company's appetite for risk.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Promote a culture that results in an aggregate moderate-to-low risk portfolio.
- Establishes, implements, and manages administrative controls and procedures to protect the quality and profitability of the loan portfolios.
- Manages credit structuring and negotiation strategy discussions with portfolio managers.
- Analyse, underwrite and approve/disapprove credit requests and ensure that all credit requests come with the required supporting documents and data.
- Identifies potential problem credit profiles and work with business unit owners to minimize risk of losses.
- Advises staff, officers and/or business units on the company overall lending policies.
