Job description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Structural Integrity department at Nabla Wind Hub. In this position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of activities related to the structural calculation of key wind turbine components such as blades, bearings, shafts and bolted joints. All calculations will be carried out in accordance with current international standards. Although principles of strength and elasticity of materials are applied, most of the analyses will be performed using the finite element technique.

You will report directly to the head of the Structural Integrity department.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with CAD software, especially Autodesk Inventor.
- Proficiency with finite element software, preferably ANSYS.
- Programming skills in Python and/or MatLab.
- Proficiency in office automation tools, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- English level C1 or higher.
- Solid knowledge of machine design.
- Familiarity with static failure criteria (Von Mises, Tresca).
- Understanding of fatigue failure criteria.
- Knowledge of structural dynamics.
- Knowledge of composite materials.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform structural analysis of wind turbine components using advanced techniques.
- Prepare detailed technical reports for our clients.
- Maintain a fluent and professional relationship with clients, ensuring that their needs are met in an efficient and effective manner.
