**Senior Solution Architect**

Expedia Partner Solutions is an entrepreneurial start-up inside the world’s biggest travel company. We build technology that helps millions of travelers to find the best hotel at the right time for their next unforgettable trip.

Expedia is looking for experienced technologists with strong technical capability as well as business acumen, with the ability to think strategically while defining technology solutions that solve the complex business needs of our partners.

**What you'll do**:

- Be responsible for defining software and solution packages that solve the needs of our clients
- Be part of our amazing technology organization within Expedia Group where you will learn and grow as a key contributor to our engineering teams playing a critical role working closely with our teams as well as top travel industry client partners
- You will work with clients, sales, and incubation teams to gain a clear understanding of the overall business goals and objectives of our clients
- You will understand any opportunities or gaps in the technology supporting their business and build solutions that address this by leveraging the technology and capabilities within Expedia’s Travel Platform. You will map out the necessary components to design an overall package of solutions
- In selecting the right technology to address partner needs, you will also incorporate a number of technology architectural and operational considerations in the overall design and approach for the solution; including consideration for security, resiliency, and integration standard methodologies while incorporating partner and internal system requirements
- You are the primary interface working directly with the client and their technical team
- The Solution Architect plays a key role in selecting the right technology components for adoption, addressing the business needs of clients, and ensuring a positive outcome for our travel ecosystem

**Who you are**:

- Experienced on sophisticated technology problems and able to communicate them to non-technical people
- Worked interacting directly with clients and capable of mapping business problems with technology solutions
- Include consciously - Bringing in others and collaborating with teams across Expedia Group's travel platform will unlock the best possible solutions for our clients. Bring the client perspective back into our travel ecosystem
