In-depth analysis and understanding of the specifications and planned characteristics of the CIIAE pilot plants.

Follow-up of the construction, assembly and commissioning of the plants.

Contribution to the design, assembly and operation of the plants in their area of expertise.

Training in the O&M of the plants.

Participation in the design of work plans and safety protocols.

Evaluation of supply and service contracts.

Participation in the preparation of the plant's annual investment and expenditure budget.

Plant O&M.

Proposal of improvements in equipment and operation.

Qualifications required

To be assessed:
Expertise, in terms of training and/or experience, in heating and cooling technologies, boiler/piping, as well as in some of the centre's areas of work, especially in Hydrogen and Power-to-X, electrochemical storage, heat generation and transfer, or thermal storage.

Experience in energy storage or in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of power or industrial plants (preferably in the energy sector).

Knowledge and experience in software and languages commonly used in industry, modelling and research (Excel, Matlab, Simulink, Simscape, Autocad, Hyperworks, SolidWorks, PSSE, Python, etc.).

Other technical training related to the area: courses, masters, specialisation, etc.

Stays in other research centres or R&D departments.

Knowledge of other languages, especially Portuguese will be an asset.

Experience in establishing collaborative relationships with industry or in scientific-technical areas linked to R&D activities and projects.

Participation and/or collaboration in R+D+i/business projects.

**Requisitos**
Engineer or Degree in Engineering with a Master's Degree (preferably in Industrial, Heat and Industrial Cooling, Thermal, Mechanical).

Professional experience not required.

Verbal and written communication in English, level B2 or higher. Knowledge of Spanish level B2 or higher.

- Adaptability to the job.

The position offered requires occasional participation in events outside Extremadura.
