**Description**
The purpose of the position is to assist to the Infrastructure Manager of the building in the supervision of all corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance operations of the company's headquarters building facilities, as well as conductive strategies, modified new or existing facilities and install scientific equipment.

He/she will collaborate in ensuring the viability and operability of the installations according to the budget, will support to define the institute's energy efficiency and saving policy and implement the actions agreed therein, as well as the coordination and management of waste.

Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructures, he/she will work in a highly technical and demanding multidisciplinary environment and will be expected to be highly responsible and serious, committed to the company's objectives, flexible, adaptable, capable of solving technical problems and service-minded.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES, FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES
- Assist to Infrastructures and Installations Manager.
- Coordination and supervision of general maintenance, security, cleaning services, gardening services, laboratory furniture maintenance, industrial gases, waste, etc.
- Participate in carrying out inspections and checks of installations and machinery to identify and solve operating problems, ensure their functionality and maximum performance with energy efficiency criteria, collaborating to define, implement and manage energy efficiency and saving policies.
- Monitoring and optimization of electricity, water and gas consumption.
- Support for occupational risk prevention activities.
- Provide technical support to the PIs regarding scientific equipment installation and design of laboratories (technical installations and spaces).
- Collaborate to define, implement and manage waste policies.
- Coordinate contracts with different suppliers.
- Coordinate works in the building.
- Assist to manage allocated budget and make financial forecasts.
- Participate in the allocation of workload and supervise the maintenance staff, including the respective coordination with the corresponding subcontractors and official SATs.
- Control the inventory of equipment and spare parts (consumables, filters, oils, etc.) and collaborate in the elaboration of orders when necessary.
- Assist in the supervision of expenses and control of the maintenance and works budget.
- Collaborate in carrying out energy audits of the building, advising and following up on measures to save bills and energy for the company and its installations.
- Propose additional improvement measures and help to carry them out in case of approval.

**Requirements**:
EXPERIENCE (required / desired)

Required:

- Demonstrable experience in a similar position of more than 2 years.
- Experience in technical installations of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), domestic hot water, energy efficiency and renewable energies, plumbing and sanitation, prevention of legionellosis, electrical systems (high and low voltage) and centralised control (BMS), lighting, UPS and generators, fire protection (detection and extinction), compressed air and vacuum, industrial gases, metallic and wooden carpentry, etc.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations and control of energy supply consumption.
- Professional knowledge of sectorial regulations (RITE, REBT, RAT, RIPCI, CTE, prevention of legionellosis, etc.).
- Professional knowledge of installation equipment and machinery, as well as renewable energy systems.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
