About the job:
You will be part of a team that will focus on understanding Red Hat’s finance and sales business operations, its products & offerings to create language models that automate the interactions with operational teams across Red Hat on serving order management, account management and product operations. In this demanding and greenfield space, you will leverage your background in statistics, operations research, NLP and machine learning to build foundational frameworks to serve business stakeholders in finance & sales operations, content, and product. In addition, you will be part of the data science and AI community at Red Hat.

What you will do:
- Research and implement the correct algorithms and tools for natural language processing tasks
- Work with a small globally distributed team in a highly collaborative environment
- Analyze, study, and transform data science prototypes as required
- Review and choose the best and most appropriate annotated datasets for the best-supervised learning methods
- Use well-formed and effective text representation to change and adapt natural language into user-friendly features per business requirements
- Ensure the developed model is properly trained and ensure substantive evaluation experiments are run
- Undertake statistical analysis of the results produced and refine the model where required
What you will bring:
- Professional experience working with NLP in python
- Experience with Spacy and/or Hugging Face
- Thorough understanding of NLP techniques for text representation and modeling
- Excellent understanding of machine learning frameworks
- Working knowledge of Tensorflow, TensorflowServing, Keras, PyTorch, etc.
- Experience developing highly scalable backend microservices in AWS
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Math, Computational Linguistics, or other related fields
