**What You Will Do**:
As a Senior Manager, Content Design, you will play a crucial role in shaping the overall content strategy and ensuring the seamless integration of content into our empowered product teams. You will hire and lead a team of content designers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. Your expertise in content strategy, information architecture, and user-centered design principles will be instrumental in delivering exceptional user experiences. You'll partner with Domain Design leaders, researchers, and product and engineer leads. The position is remote, but Vista has many collaboration spaces across the globe. In this position you will:

- Lead and manage a team of content designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Define and drive the content strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, user goals, and business objectives.
- Conduct content audits, analyze user research data, and identify opportunities for improving content quality, relevance, and structure.
- Develop and maintain content style guides, tone of voice guidelines, and other documentation to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
- Oversee the creation and optimization of content assets, including website copy, user interface (UI) text, microcopy, error messages, and notifications.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iteratively refine and improve content design solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content design and UX, and share knowledge with the team.

- Proven experience 10+ years working in content design, UX writing, or a similar role, preferably within a UX design agency or product-focused organization.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of content designers.
- In-depth knowledge of content strategy, information architecture, and user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining content style guides, tone of voice guidelines, and other relevant documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of user research methodologies and experience in incorporating user insights into content design decisions.
- Proficiency in using design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively in an iterative design environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your content design work, highlighting your ability to solve complex content challenges and create engaging user experiences.
- Lead Content design reviews, content scripts and crits
- Define language concepts across various contexts, including our design system components and patterns. Identify opportunities to improve language consistency across end-to-end experiences.

**Nice to Have**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as UX design, content strategy, communication design, or related disciplines.
- An understanding of other languages and the typical challenges of localizing content from English
- A passion for advocating for inclusive language.
- Experience improving web accessibility.
