As the **IT QA Lead **at Fluidra, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts across various IT projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps-oriented practices, agile and traditional waterfall methodologies, as well as experience in ERP, integration services and frontend implementations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, establish quality standards, and drive continuous improvement in the QA process.

You will manage the QA department in the transformation process to become a cross-functional team in Fluidra Global IT, promoting mindset, tooling and ways of working.

**Key Responsibilites**:
QA Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and plans that align with project goals and methodologies (DevOps-oriented, agile and traditional waterfall).
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Conduct risk assessments and prioritise testing efforts based on project requirements and constraints.

Test Design and Execution:

- Manage team to define test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure comprehensive coverage of system functionality.
- Execute test cases, record and analyse test results, and identify defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues, maintaining effective communication throughout the defect lifecycle.

Test Automation and Tools:

- Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to testing tools, frameworks, and processes.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and third-party vendors to ensure clear understanding of requirements and alignment on testing objectives.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders, providing accurate and timely status reports.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement by promoting best practices and knowledge sharing among team members.

Process Improvement and Best Practices:

- Identify areas for process improvement in the QA lifecycle and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in QA methodologies, and proactively introduce innovative practices where applicable.7

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
- Proven experience in a QA lead or senior QA role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in DevOps-oriented, agile and traditional waterfall environments.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in ERP implementation projects, preferably with exposure to systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficient in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Gitlab).
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, QAtouch, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, including version control systems (e.g., Gitlab).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
