El Instituto IMDEA Software (Instituto Madrileño de Estudios Avanzados en Desarrollo de Software) es un instituto de investigación sin ánimo de lucro promovido por la Comunidad de Madrid. El objetivo del Instituto es llevar a cabo investigación de excelencia para idear métodos que permitan el desarrollo eficiente de productos de software con funcionalidades sofisticadas y alta calidad, es decir, seguros, fiables y eficientes. El Instituto IMDEA Software se encuentra en el Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Montegancedo, en las afueras de Madrid, España.

**Descripción**:
El Instituto IMDEA de Software está buscando un ingeniero o ingeniera de redes para unirse a nuestro equipo estable encargado de respaldar, gestionar y planificar nuevos despliegues básicos en REDIMadrid y en una infraestructura emergente de comunicación cuántica (MadQCI).

**Tareas**:
Las tareas a realizar incluirán, entre otras:

- Configurar e instalar varios dispositivos y servicios de red (por ejemplo, routers, switches, firewalls, DDoS, WIFI y equipos ópticos).
- Realizar mantenimiento de red y actualizaciones del sistema, incluyendo paquetes de servicio, parches, correcciones y configuraciones de seguridad.
- Supervisar el rendimiento y garantizar la disponibilidad y confiabilidad del sistema, así como monitorear la utilización de recursos del sistema, tendencias y planificación de capacidad.
- Trabajar dentro de las políticas establecidas de gestión de configuración y cambios para garantizar la conciencia y el éxito de los cambios realizados en la infraestructura de red.
- Coordinar con proveedores y otro personal de IT para la resolución de problemas.

**Requisitos**:

- Al menos 5 años de experiência laboral y un título de Licenciatura o Grado en Telecomunicaciones o un campo relacionado.
- Alto conocimiento de equipos IP (Juniper es un plus) en entornos de proveedores de servicios y protocolos de enrutamiento (BGP4, PIM-SM, MP-BGP, MSDP, eVPN, L3VPN, etc.) en redes IP/MPLS.
- Conocimientos de tecnologías de seguridad en entornos de proveedores de servicios.
- Conocimientos en el diseño y mantenimiento de comunicaciones ópticas (DWDM, CIENA son un plus).
- Conocimientos de SNMP, telemetría y netflow.
- Conocimientos en herramientas de monitoreo de red (grafana, zabbix, herramientas ópticas).
- Fluidez en inglés y español, hablado, escrito y leído.

**Cualidades adicionales**:
Además de los requisitos enumerados, las siguientes capacidades y conocimientos adicionales serán considerados un plus:

- Conocimientos de entornos Linux/Unix, lenguajes de script, herramientas de automatización, formatos de intercambio de datos y familiaridad con la administración de Docker/Kubernetes y Máquinas Virtuales (KVM).
- Conocimientos en control de versiones (GIT, SVN) y composición de documentos en LaTeX.
- Conocimientos en criptografía cuántica en tecnologías QKD.
- Capacidad para cumplir con plazos y trabajar bajo presión.
- Capacidad para trabajar en equipo.
