**Who are we looking for?**
**Responsibilities**
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and 'fixes'
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate testing
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Proactively work with assessments, processes and training in order to avoid incidents
- Monitor performance, uptime and released to ensure high availability
- Work with load balancing to distribute traffic
- Monitor costs vs performance and reports related to the same
- Closely liaise with Application engineers and suggest performance enhancements
- Coordinate release windows

**Requirements**:

- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred
- Demonstrated project development and leadership skills
- Proficient with git and git workflows as well as CI/CD
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Configuration and managing databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications
- Professional work experience in team building and project organization
