**What about us?**

Sunhero is a residential solar energy company on a mission to make access to clean, PV solar energy easy and affordable. We leverage technology and innovation to accelerate the transition to clean energy.

Sunhero was founded in 2021 by Christopher Cederskog and Stefan Braun. Two entrepreneurs with over 25 years of experience launching companies in the international markets, including Airbnb, Rover, and Course Hero. Sunhero is Berlin-founded and Barcelona-headquartered.

We raised our series A investment round of 10M€ in March 2023. This round was led by climate tech VC Planet A and Vorwerk Ventures, as well as Redstone, All Iron Ventures, and Speedinvest.

**What we want to achieve together?**

We are currently facing a new stage in our company’s growth, and therefore looking for a strong, energetic, and motivated Junior People Coordinator, to join the People Team and support the People Operations and People Experience functions at Sunhero.

The People Operations team is responsible for all the employee lifecycle matters and experience including but not limited to: onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management (we use HiBob), benefits and rewards, creation of People policies and employee experience. This is a great opportunity to oversee a wide variety of People Operations and People Experience topics, as we focus on sustainable growth after our 10M€ investment round.

**More specifically, some of the key tasks are**:

- Manage and be the first point of contact for all the People related questions our Sunheroes might have throughout their employee journey, managing it with professionalism and excellence. Questions about benefits, payroll, company policies, etc.
- Own our onboarding and offboarding process; administer all the benefit plans (Private health insurance, Flexible retributions, among others) as well as IT support platforms (hardware and software)
- Responsible for data accuracy and process automation in our HRIS: HiBob
- Ensure rigorosity across the different employee records and associated administrative tasks: sick leaves, job changes, promotions, relocations, bank account changes, etc.
- Maintain compliance with local labor legislation matters: Health and Safety, Labour risk prevention, Ley del Teletrabajo, and other key compliance matters.
- Support the Senior People Operations Specialist during the monthly payroll preps.
- Proactively identify opportunities to design new scalable processes and improve our existing ones, to keep on delivering an outstanding employee experience to our new Sunheroes: improvement of our onboarding and offboarding process, our material request process, IT hardware solutions, etc.
- Manage Sunhero’s hybrid events (remote and in-person), to reignite the sense of purpose, strengthen social bonds between employees, and most importantly, reinforce our mission.
- Develop a first-class working environment: coordinate and manage all the behind-the-scenes office/coworking related matters, so we can provide an environment that inspires people to come to work.

**What you need to be successful in this role?**

This role is made for highly motivated individuals who want to accelerate their careers in People, work closely with experienced and inspiring startup professionals, and experience firsthand the challenges of exponential growth.

**Some previous experiences and skills that will help you excel and enjoy this role**:

- You have 1 year of working experience in a similar role (HR Admin or Office Coordinator)
- You have previous experience in a fast-paced and hyper growth startup
- You are a Spanish native speaker and can speak English fluently. Other European languages is a plus. (English is our working language)
- You are extremely hands-on, detail-oriented and aim to deliver an outstanding customer experience to all the requests coming along.
- You enjoy being around the office and creating an environment where people are inspired to come to work.
- You have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- You have strong problem-solving and solutions-oriented skills and you are able to work with low supervision
- You are driven by data and metrics, and you are proficient with Excel/G-sheets
- You have experience with agile People tools (Slack, Notion, HiBob) and you like to optimize processes constantly through technology.
- You are a natural people person who instinctively cares about employees
- You question why things are done in a certain way. You have an unparalleled curiosity to learn and challenge the status quo.
