Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture. Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture.

With this joint venture, two rich, 100-year-old cultures and histories have come together to create one exciting new company, serving our combined customers with the most diverse product portfolio in the air conditioning industry.

For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:
**VAVE Engineer**:
**What you will do**

**How you will do it**
- Lead all the engineering activities related to product maintenance of existing products
- Analyze and propose design improvements on existing products
- Ensure the quality of the new created materials (3D and 2D drawings as well as BOM information and operation) and its communication to other department
- Support R&D function in new development to ensure their correct future production introduction in the factory
- Receive and adopt all the new information from R&D tam about new products to be introduced in the factory

**What we are looking for**

Mechanical or Industrial engineering

Minimum 5 years of similar experience

Knowledge in SAP

Excellent IT skills

Exceptional creativity and innovation

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent verbal communication skills

Resolution skills

Multitasking

Fluent level of English
