**Job Description**:
Role Overview:
This is a intern position to start as Project Engineer (PE) at Weather System Design in DTN.
PE shall keep engineering projects on time and on a budget, as well as monitor activities such as procurement, quality control and system configuration. PE shall be responsible for the day to day running of engineering processes. PE will work closely with other levels of management such us business development teams, supporting service level agreements with customers and negotiate with third parties when needed.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Translating client requirements into practical terms that can be implemented by a team
- Ensuring the project meets its deadlines at each stage
- Maintaining a clean health and safety record and overseeing the resolution of any problems
- Listening and responding to team and client requests
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies;
- Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with DTN´s project management regulations.
**Education**:
- Grade in Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering
Other requirements:
- English fluent
