About the role As a Global Mobility Specialist, you will be responsible for managing complex and strategic mobility projects and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a stand-alone position with full ownership of the global mobility area, offering a significant impact on shaping the future of our global mobility to enable the business to bring and retain top talent. You will work closely with various cross-functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, General Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Tax, to design and implement global mobility policies and processes that are aligned with the company's business objectives.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Lead complex and strategic mobility projects from start to finish, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations throughout.
Manage and improve the global mobility policies and procedures to align with the company's overarching business objectives.
Provide expert guidance and counsel to stakeholders on all aspects of global mobility, including immigration, tax, and relocation matters and escalate as required.
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate employees on global mobility policies and procedures.
Research and analyse market trends, legal developments, and best practices within the global mobility landscape.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize global mobility processes and facilitate seamless execution.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobility services.
Control budgets and expenses associated with global mobility projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Develop and uphold key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of global mobility programs and initiatives.
You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you: Demonstrated experience in global mobility or immigration, preferably within the context of an international tech company.
Experience managing WFA (Work From Anywhere) policy.
General understanding of immigration and tax laws pertaining to globally mobile employees.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and identifying trends.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in managing vendor relationships and service providers.
Detail-oriented with a focus on established processes, particularly in working with visas and collaborating with Talent teams.
Skilled in collaborating with external legal providers and internal teams for effective visa and relocation processes.
