Our customer, an international holding company based in the UK, leader in the field of gaming, is looking for a PROGRAMME MANAGER for their offices in Barcelona to run a programme of technology projects.
Projects typically comprise software enhancements or maintenance activities from requirements gathering through to production deployment, utilizing diverse geographical and cultural teams.
Some international travel will be required.
Overall Purpose and Objective:
Plans and manages the implementation of a programme of projects including scope, schedule, budget, quality, process, team, customer, and issues/risks management.
Programme Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the overall scope, schedule, budget and quality of a programme of projects within a single country account or across multiple country accounts.Present programme status to senior management on a monthly basis.Assist in strategic planning for customer accounts and budget creation with the ability to determine what is missing/should be included.Support bid process & contract negotiations.Flexibility to run a programme of projects, supporting junior project managers, or manage projects individually, as required.Project Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeliver individual IT projects based on predefined process and strategy.Act as a primary interface between the company and the customer project manager.Define the scope of effort required to meet project objectives.Define activities, sequences of events, dependencies and duration of tasks required to complete the project.Manage resources and materials committed to the project.Facilitate team building and communication.Provide direction and decision making for problem resolution.Implement corporate operating procedures including communication, documentation, quality, and change control processes.Coordinate, approve and track all project related expenses including all hours, materials and services.Assess and manage risk of strategic, technical, financial, political and/or business factors facing the project.Coordinate across all corporate departments and disciplines to ensure timely and quality deliverables to the project.Coordinate all project matters and monitor on a daily basis; assign/delegate tasks as appropriate.Report progress in writing on a weekly basis both internally and to the customer.Identify internal and external factors jeopardizing the project, escalate issues and recommend solutions to senior management.Analyze, review, forecast and report project spending.Coordinate post project review with a view to improve future project performance.What is offered?We offer a competitive remuneration and an attractive package of benefits according to the training and experience.Working 50% remotely.REQUISITOS MÍNIMOSSkill and CompetenciesSolid IT programme and project management experience with a proven track record of delivering both programmes and individual projects with a high degree of complexity.External customer facing skills; strong written & verbal communication skills.Commercially aware with strong understanding of change in a business environment.Experience of managing multi-functional, multi-cultural virtual teams.Excellent leadership skills and team focus.Demonstrated financial accountability up to $5m a year.Must have managed at least one complex project (6+ months / $1m+ budget / 10+ team members / 15K+ man hours) as well as multiple smaller, less complex projects in parallel.Ability to assist in defining and implementing process improvements for project management.Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Project and MS Office.DETALLESCATEGORÍA: OtrosSUBCATEGORÍA: Sin especificarSECTOR: Otras actividadesJORNADA LABORAL: CompletaMODALIDAD DE TRABAJO: Teletrabajo/RemotoNIVEL PROFESIONAL: EmpleadoDEPARTAMENTO: Otros
