The Project engineer EMEA (PE EMEA) will provide technical and assistance on project scoping, gate sizing, hydraulic designs, proposal development and technical specifications for tenders.
The PE EMEA will ensure to support the international markets of EMEA, with special attention to Italy and Africa.
The PE EMEA will have to deal with Engineering companies, Governments bodies, Irrigation districts or partners to develop engineering services to develop solutions for the international markets.
As part of its responsibilities this person will have to travel along the EMEA countries, especially in Italy and North Africa (Morocco Egypt).
The PE EMEA will work in conduction with the EMEA technical services to supply solutions and collaborate with different Engineer disciplines and backgrounds as Draftpersons, Hydraulic Engineers, SCADA Comms engineer to provide the whole solution.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop a strong knowledge of Rubicon Water products and solutionsDevelop solutions in collaboration with the sales team and produce technical and administrative content for sales documentationIdentify where it is not possible for standard Rubicon products to meet project requirements and scope new product requestsProvide technical documentation and description of each proposalProvide high quality solution proposals to our customersAssist with the handover from sales to projects on productive workQualificationsBachelor's or Master degree in Civil, Agronomic or similar Engineering focused on hydraulic/irrigation systemsExperience with Hydraulic designs and knowledge of hydraulics and fluid dynamics calculations.Experience with International tender processes and technical specificationsExperience in the design, construction, or operation of irrigation infrastructure and/or SCADA, control and communication systems is preferred but not essential.Experience in Africa countries will be valuableStrong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in HEC-RAS and/or SIC^2Strong written and spoken English, Catalan and Spanish.Italian/Arabic will be a bonus.
