We are currently recruiting for a Mate/Deck for a 34m private motor yacht.This is an immediate start and to join the yacht in Spain. Family use only with lovely British owners and family cruising Mediterranean.Great Captain and crew therefore we are seeking a genuine team player to compliment team.Contract from now to end of October/beginning of November but the position could become permanent for the right candidate.The yacht runs with 5/6 crew.Salary in the region of €4250 with some room for negotiation on this depending on experience.Responsibilities:Assist the captain in navigating and operating the yacht safely and efficientlySupervise deckhand and assist with their training and developmentMaintain the exterior of the yacht, including guest interaction, water-sports, etc.Handle mooring operations and assist with tender and water toy managementOversee inventory management for deck supplies and equipmentEnsure compliance with safety protocols and regulationsQualifications:Valid STCW certification and ENG 1/Seafarers MedicalAdditional requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role on yachts of comparable sizeProficiency in navigation and seamanship skillsStrong leadership and communication abilitiesExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentPositive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectationsMale applicants only please due to the cabin arrangements.Priority is given to EU passport holders and those already in Europe.Excellent and verifiable references are essential#J-18808-Ljbffr
